Summer Training Season draws to a close at U.A.
Posted Thursday, August 13, 2009

The unofficial end of summer is still a few short weeks away but the summer training is just about over. Most of the college athletes are gone or leaving shortly and H.S. fall sports are starting up. Time to let all the hard work pay off and it will. I have a feeling we are going to see some great seasons come out of our U.A. athletes this year. Our athletes trained tremendously this summer and made huge gains getting faster and stronger and becoming much better athletes. Good Luck to all of them.

Huge Congratulations go out to U.A's LIZ GODWIN who just returned from Taiwan and the World Games. Liz is a member of the USA Parachute Team are a WORLD CHAMPION and GOLD MEDAL winner. In addition to her Gold Medal performance she and her teammates set a New World Record. Liz is a very hard worker and we are very proud of her performance . Congratulations Liz!

While we say goodbye to some of older colege athletes we welcome a new batch of young athletes to keep up the Ultimate Advantage tradition. We have some really good new athletes training at U.A. and I look foward to seeing them do great things as well.

Our H.S. athletes look like they are poised to dominate their sports. Girls Tennis looks espesically strong again this season and I would not be surprised to see a 1,2,3 in the rankings in section nine.

Army Powerlifting also begins shortly and they look very powerful again this year. The Army/ Navy Championship is the Saturday before Thankgiving. It will be held at West Point so if you can attend we love to see you come out and support Army Powerlifting. We look foward to having some very educationial speed camps this fall as well.

Check our camp and clinics section on the site for times and locations. As always remember at U.A. we dont just train harder we train smarter. Good Luck!
